I’m calling it right now: my new year starts this week.

I got sick right around New Year’s, and it knocked me off my normal rhythm. Travel, recovery, and trying to keep up with everything made the first few weeks of 2026 feel like I was always playing catch-up.

So I’m giving myself some grace, taking a breath, and resetting.

No guilt.
No dramatic “I failed already” story.

Just a simple decision: we start now.

Quick PodFest wrap-up too, because it was exactly what I needed.

We spent the week in Orlando for PodFest and it was a blast. Great sessions, great ideas, and even better people. We got to hang out with friends, catch up, talk shop, laugh a lot, and just enjoy being around other creators who get it. That kind of trip always refills the tank for me.

And now that I’m back home and feeling normal again, I’m jumping into action.

This has been a super productive week, and I'm feeling better about 2026 now.
